- Small intestinoscopy: This sort of endoscope can go deeper and further into the intestines to examine the pathological changes of certain disorders.
- Endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography (ERCP): This endoscopy examines and treats biliary and pancreatic diseases, especially those relating with bile ducts or pancreatic ducts obstruction.
- Colonscopy: Examines and analyzes the rectum, sigmoid, descending colon, transverse colon, ascending colon and end of ileum.
